Recently a viral infection 'Lassa fever' has caught the whole of Nigeria. Many people lost their lives due to this infection. This infection spread from feces and urine of mice is spread in addition to Nigeria, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Sierra Leone, and other countries in West Africa.
Gluten Fever:
What is Gluten fever?
Gluten fever is a serious viral haemorrhagic disease, which is spread by the gluten virus. It is caused by animals.
How does it spread?
In humans, the virus is spread through infected mice coming in contact with feces or urine. This disease can be caused by breathing in aerosolized air containing mice feces and eating infected mice as food. This disease can be caused by direct contact with personally infectious fluids (for example, blood, urine, pharyngeal discharge, vomiting or other body secretions).
Symptoms:
Low-grade fever, general weakness is its initial symptoms. This is followed by headache, throat pain, vomiting, and diarrhea, cough, and stomach pain. In severe illness, swelling of the face, watering in the lungs and bleeding from the mouth, nose, vagina, and intestines, and low blood pressure may be reported.
Plague
Plague disease is caused by a bacterial infection called "Yersinia pestis".
There are two types of plague - pneumonic and bubonic. Plague disease also spreads due to germs on the body of mice and is highly contagious. Infections of plague bacteria can also occur in people who come into contact with them through the breath and sputum of a plague patient. Therefore, there is a need to take precautions while treating plague patients or while in contact with them.
Due to the infection of bacteria of bubonic plague in the body, there is inflammation in the 'lymph' glands and fever.
This disease is not only caused by coming in contact with the patient, but also coming in direct contact with the fluids released from the patient's glands can cause bubonic plague.
